Huntingdon Drama Club : Confusions (Matinee)

Confusions – five loosely linked, short comedies by one of the world’s most popular and prolific playwrights – Alan Ayckbourn. In MOTHER FIGURE we meet a mum who has spent so much time alone with her children that she treats her neighbours like toddlers. DRINKING COMPANION sees married Harry attempting to charm two young ladies in a hotel bar. In the same hotel’s restaurant we see two couples trashing their relationships over dinner in BETWEEN MOUTHFULS. GOSFORTH’S FETE sees a village summer fair ruined by infidelity, rain and a malfunctioning PA system! And in A TALK IN THE PARK we meet five lonely souls who all want to tell their story but are not so eager to listen to anyone else.
