Acoustic Night with Friction Farm

Come and join us for an evening of live music with Friction Farm. The Arts Cafe/Bar will be open throughout the evening. There will be 2 sets with a break in between. The event is FREE with a generous tips jar for the performers. About the band: We are Friction Farm, Aidan Quinn and Christine Stay, an americana folk duo. We are singer songwriters with thought provoking, socially conscious, and humorous songs, that range from songs inspired by books, to poignant observations on people and nature.   We are scheduling our seventh annual UK tour in September/October 2024, as we support the release of our eighth studio album. We would very much like to perform for you when we return. Our last two albums debuted in the top 10 on the US Folk DJ chart.  We have been Kerrville NewFolk finalists and Falcon Ridge Emerging Artists, both pretty big deals in the small world of American folk music.
